Digital Photography Accessories - More Than
A Spare Battery!
The accessories needed by a digital photographer are few,
largely unobtrusive but highly important to the success of his
hobby or profession.
Spotting After Menopause
There are many postmenopausal symptoms and spotting after menopause is most common amongst them.
Gone are the days that you would see a photographer walking
around with a rucksack on their backs, seemingly holding
everything but the kitchen sink.
Today's digital photographer can carry most of his vital
accessories and back up supplies in one these nice safari vest
they wear, and not necessarily fill up all the pockets!
So what accessories does a digital photographer have on him
at all times?
1. Batteries. Nothing can be worse than being caught out on
a picnic or a photo shoot, when all of a sudden the batteries
give out. Most modern digital cameras run on double A
batteries. Any respectable digital photographer will have long
since realized that the best long term investment they can make
is to buy rechargeable batteries. The investment will justify
itself in next to no time.
2. Carrying a spare photo card is also a wise move for the
digital photographer. Who knows what the day will hold, and a
one of photo opportunity will be lost for ever for the want of
having a back up card in another vest pocket, After all they
are tiny and weigh a few grams. A vital digital photography
accessory just the same.
3. If you want to be extra cautious, you can also carry a
portable disc on you to allow downloading of your digital
images for back up or if all your photo cards become full.
These "disc on keys" now have a capacity of up to 5 gigabytes
and can hold a lot of digital images. Say you are on holiday or
on business trip abroad and you need to take a lot of
photographs, this simple and inexpensive digital accessory may
save your trip.
These are the three default accessory items that the digital
photographer has to have on them at all times. There are other
accessories that can make the digital photographer's life more
pleasant, some are portable and some not necessarily so.
A good camera case is a nice thing to have on you, also with
its share of pockets. If you are really serious about digital
photography or you make your living from it, then you may want
to carry a wide angle lens or a more powerful zoom lens than
the one provided with your camera. A light meter may also be a
useful accessory to have on you for outdoor shots.
One of the latest hits in digital photography accessories is
a portable digital printer. If you want to make an immediate
impression (pardon my pun) then you simply hook the printer up
to your camera with a USB cable. In seconds your digital image
will pop up.
These are only some of the digital accessories you can carry
with you on a shoot or on a day out. There are many more that
will make your day go better.
